CHINESE NEW YEAR: SPEICAL LONG HOLIDAY

Chinese new year, also known as “Spring Festival”, is the most important Festival in China, in fact,  it’s called”过年” in Chinese language, “年” means “year”, according to the traditional Chinese Lunar Calender, it will be the end of last passed year and a start of new year, a festival of saying goodbye to the Winter and saying hello to the coming Spring, now, we will say good bye to year of Snake and say hello to the year of Horse.

It will be official holiday of Chinese new year 2014 From 2014 January 31^st to February 6^th, but many factories and companies will be on holiday for longer time. Because in China, employees always do not work in their hometown, many people work in the cities very far from hometown, where their family live, even rural areas thousand miles aways. There are not so many chances to meet their family members except the spring Festival, Family is most important to most of Chinese people, they must come back home to meet their Parents, wife, Husband, sons, daughters and relatives in this most important holiday.

Some of them have to spend long time on their way home, crowded train, bus, even crowded high way, go home and come back, 7 days won’t be enough, so they always ask for leaving the factory or company much earlier than the official holiday and come back later, to some of people whose hometown in countryside far away from working place, Spring Festival means a holiday 2 weeks or even 3 weeks long, especially the workers in factory.

It’s same to our company, So dear customers, please kindly note this if you need to place the order in January 2014 or early February, please do it hurry so that we can finish it before this long holiday, because we can hardly get good support from factory in the holiday, many workers of factory are in hometown one week before the February 1^st 2014 and one week after it.
