Audi has announced the launch of its latest electric vehicle, the Q4 e-tron. The compact SUV is the first Audi model to be based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles.
The Q4 e-tron will be available in both standard and Sportback versions, with a range of up to 323 miles on a single charge. The vehicle will also feature fast-charging capabilities, allowing it to charge up to 80% in just 38 minutes.
The Q4 e-tron will come equipped with a range of advanced features, including Audi’s virtual cockpit, a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, and a suite of driver assistance systems. The vehicle will also feature a new augmented reality head-up display, which projects important information onto the windshield in real-time.
“Audi is committed to electrification, and the Q4 e-tron is a major step forward in our journey towards a more sustainable future,” said Markus Duesmann, CEO of Audi AG. “With its advanced technology, impressive range, and sleek design, we believe the Q4 e-tron will be a game-changer in the electric vehicle market.”
The Q4 e-tron is set to go on sale in Europe later this year, with prices starting at €41,900. The vehicle will also be available in the United States in the coming months, with pricing and availability to be announced at a later date.
